๐ฐ Rabbit Boarding Pricing
- $25 per night – per rabbit
- $35 per night – for two bonded rabbits sharing one cage
- Minimum stay: 3 nights per booking
- Payment: Full boarding fees are to be paid upon arrival

๐งบ What's Included During Boarding
- Unlimited Hay: Oaten and/or meadow hay are provided daily to all rabbits.
- Pellets: Owner-supplied pellets are fed daily, at approximately 30 grams per kilogram of the rabbit's body weight, or according to the owner's instructions.
- Fresh water: Fresh water is always provided in the cage and playpen.
- Fresh Greens: A variety of washed vegetables will be served daily (owner may specify restrictions).
- Housing: Each rabbit (or bonded pair) will have a secure indoor cage for overnight stays and access to an indoor/outdoor playpen during the day. The cage floor features a thick, supportive wire base designed to allow waste to fall through while prioritising the comfort and safety of the rabbit’s feet.
- Enrichment: Daily playtime, human interaction, and toys are provided to keep rabbits mentally engaged.
- Photo Updates: Photos/videos will be shared with owners during the stay.
๐ Rabbit Boarding Service Terms & Conditions
To ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all rabbits in our care, the following conditions apply:
- Health & Vaccination Requirements
- Vaccination Proof: All rabbits must be up-to-date on RHDV vaccinations (Filavac) with documentation provided prior to boarding.
- Health Check: Rabbits must arrive in good health—free of symptoms such as sneezing, diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite, scabs, or wounds.
- Pre-Arrival Health Screening: A visual health check will be performed upon arrival. If any health concerns are observed, we reserve the right to refuse boarding.
- Parasite & Hygiene Control
- Parasite-Free Policy: Rabbits must be treated for fleas, mites, and worms prior to boarding. Any signs of infestation will result in refusal of service or immediate treatment at the owner's expense.
- Cleanliness: Rabbits must arrive clean and well-groomed (no urine stain or matted fur). Regular grooming will be maintained during their stay.
- Diet & Feeding
- Pellet Provision: Owners must supply their rabbit's usual pellets to avoid digestive upset.
- No Sudden Dietary Changes: New foods will only be introduced with prior owner approval.
- Behavioral & Physical Requirements
- Temperament: Aggressive or highly stressed rabbits cannot be accepted, for their own safety and that of others.
- Age Restriction: Only rabbits aged 6 months to 5 years are accepted.
- Size & Breed: Due to limited space, we only accept small breeds under 2 kg, such as Netherland Dwarfs and Mini Lops.
- Desexing Requirement: All rabbits over 6 months must be desexed; proof is required.
- Bonded Pairs: Must arrive together and will not be separated during their stay. Unbonded rabbits from different households will not be housed together or interact.
- Medical Care & Emergencies
- Vet Authorization: In the event of illness or injury, we will seek veterinary care and contact the owner immediately. Owners are financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
- Isolation Procedure: Any rabbit displaying signs of illness will be separated from others and closely monitored.
- Emergency Contact: An emergency contact must be provided and remain reachable throughout the boarding period.
- Booking & Cancellation
- Reservation Deposit (optional): A deposit may be required to secure a booking, especially during peak periods.
- Cancellation Policy: Minimum 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations to avoid charges.
- Late Pickup: Additional fees apply if the rabbit is not collected on the agreed date, unless prior arrangement is made.
- Early Pickup: No refunds for shortened stays unless due to emergency or with prior agreement.
- Abandonment Clause: If the owner fails to collect the rabbit within 30 days of the agreed pick-up date and cannot be contacted despite reasonable attempts, we reserve the right to rehome the rabbit.
- Owner Responsibilities
- Accurate Disclosure: Owners must provide full and accurate information regarding their rabbit’s age, health, Behaviour, diet, and history.
- Supplies Checklist:
- Pellets (sufficient for entire stay)
- Comfort items (blanket, toy, etc.) if desired
- Contact Availability: Owners must be reachable via phone/text/email throughout the boarding period.
- Liability Waiver
- While every effort is made to provide the best care, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing health conditions or sudden illness
- Injury or death due to conditions beyond our control (e.g., extreme stress responses)
- Reactions to food, environmental changes, or medical treatment as advised by a vet
- Boarding your rabbit with us implies agreement to all above terms and acceptance of inherent risks.

Please note that space is limited and subject to availability. Priority is given to owners who bought their rabbits from us, and they receive a 10% discount on boarding fees.
